Took my 97 Camry there for 2 years, and went in for a coolant drain and fill. They instead ran a power flush, destroying my heater core in the process. They sent me down the road unaware with a leaking coolant system, and my car overheated on the way home... I made mention that my carpet was unusually wet. They told me my head gasket was bad, and would have to spend $2k on the engine they broke when it was actually the fault of the inexperienced tech running a power flush that destroyed my heater core and my interior carpet. None of which they owned up to or offered to make right. My Camry which was bone dry when I brought it in, and had a new valve cover gasket, started leaking oil slowly from the head a month later. I also had to pay $300 to replace the carpet... After going through that, I took it to a quality mechanic that my family had gone to for decades, and he said that it was your fault and the leak you created came from the overheat condition you created, which warped my car's head. I will NEVER set foot in this place again, period. Response 4/3/19: I remember you and your husband Jamey quite well Jenny. I have the receipts, and they are from your shop, dated 2017. I'm surprised you forgot considering it sat at your shop for days drying out-which by the way, the upholstery was never the same. I lost the head gasket this week and am forced to buy a new car-no thanks to you. So much for buying a house this summer... Forgetfulness seems to be the M.O. here when you get an unhappy customer.
Hi Nick, sounds like a very unfortunate circumstance. I went back through my records, even went back more than 2 years to see if I could find any info on this and I don't see you or your Camry. Wondering if you have the wrong shop? I know there are similarly named shops in the area, I am sorry that I don't have an answer for you. I truly hope things get better for you.
